The Certification Process

A base set of requirements apply prior to engaging in the certification process. This includes three years experience within the information technology industry and a bachelors degree.

Step 1 - Provide 5 professional references

Step 2 - Signup for Introduction Workshop

Step 3 - Select a Practice Area

Step 4 - Take the Training Program from accredited organization appropriate to the selected Practice Area

Step 5 - Take the PIT Exam

Step 6 - Gain apprenticeship with certified mentor organization (apprenticeship certificate)

Step 7 - Approval as PIT Certified Practitioner
